TONIGHT – LESTER HOLT TO ANCHOR A SPECIAL EDITION OF NBC NIGHTLY NEWS LIVE FROM INSIDE ISRAEL

Monday, October 9 – Tonight, Lester Holt will anchor a special edition of NBC Nightly News live from Tel Aviv, Israel at 6:30pm ET/5:30pm CT, just days following the Palestinian militant group Hamas’ unprecedented attack on the country. Holt will be joined by NBC News correspondents reporting live from Israel and the surrounding regions, as well as correspondents reporting on the latest developments from Washington D.C.

NBC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel, NBC News Foreign Correspondents Raf Sanchez and Kelly Cobiella, NBC News Correspondent Ellison Barber, NBC News Digital’s Chantal Da Silva, and MSNBC Anchor Ali Velshi will be reporting live from Israel for NBC News, NBC News NOW and MSNBC. NBC News Foreign Correspondent Matt Bradley will report from Lebanon and NBC News Tehran Bureau Chief Ali Arouzi from Iran.
