‘Nightly News’ Special Report: Inside Ukraine with Lester Holt’ Streams Tomorrow, March 8, at 9 p.m. ET

NBC News’ Richard Engel, Tom Llamas & Erin McLaughlin to Join One-Hour Special with Reports from Across Region 

March 7, 2022 – NBC News anchor Lester Holt will anchor a one-hour special from inside Ukraine on NBC News NOW tomorrow, March 8, at 9 p.m. ET. Holt will have on-the-ground reporting from Lviv, Ukraine on the latest following Russia’s invasion as attacks continue to ramp up across the country. 

The special will feature in-depth coverage from across the region of the fight inside Kyiv to hold the capital; the growing crisis of refugees fleeing for their safety and the desperate efforts underway to help them leave; Ukrainian artists joining the fight; what modest items Ukrainians are taking with them as they leave their homes; and an inside look at the Lviv train station’s private hall where only single mothers and children are allowed.

NBC News and MSNBC correspondents Richard Engel, Gabe Gutierrez, Molly Hunter, Tom Llamas, Erin McLaughlin, Cal Perry and more will contribute to the special report. 

Holt will also speak with former CIA Director and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, former Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul and NBC News Presidential Historian Michael Beschloss.
