NOVEMBER 6, 2018 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, November 4, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its third straight week at #1.

Sunday’s broadcast aired live from NBC News election headquarters in New York and featured interviews with Georgia Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams, Chairman of the Republican Governors Association Gov. Bill Haslam (R-Tenn.) and Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.).

MTP was the only Sunday show to deliver more than three million total viewers, beating both ABC’s This Week and CBS’ Face the Nation by double-digits. 3.344 million total viewers tuned in to the Sunday program: +29 percent (+755,000) more than ABC and +15 percent (+426,000) more than CBS. This marks the broadcast’s 22nd straight win over ABC and third straight win over CBS in total viewers. Compared to last week, MTP grew by three percent (+81,000) and increased its lead over ABC by +58 percent (+278,000) and CBS by +113 percent (+226,000). Compared to last year, MTP was the only Sunday show to grow in total viewers (one percent, +43,000), increasing its lead over ABC (+755,000 vs. +23,000 last year) and turning its loss to CBS into a win (+426,000 vs. -12,000 last year).

MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 40th straight broadcast, again beating ABC and CBS by double-digits. 848,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +29 percent (+191,000) more than ABC and +28 percent (+183,000) more than CBS. This is the broadcast’s best streak in over 18 years (since October 15, 2000). Compared to last week, MTP increased its lead over CBS by +41 percent (+54,000) and compared to last year, MTP turned its loss to ABC into a win (+191,000 vs. -7,000 last year).

Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best total viewer lead over ABC in seven seasons (since 2011-12).

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers for more than three straight years (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 2.245 million total viewers and 677,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
