Digital-First News Brand ‘Stay Tuned’ Expands to Streaming, Weeknights at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC News NOW

Plus – Hallie Jackson NOW Expands to Two Hours – 5-7 p.m. ET – on March 13

March 9, 2023 – On Monday, March 13, NBC News will debut Stay Tuned NOW, a new primetime streaming program on NBC News NOW, anchored by NBC News’ Gadi Schwartz, weeknights at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Additionally, Hallie Jackson NOW, a daily primetime news program, anchored by NBC News senior Washington correspondent Hallie Jackson, will expand to two hours, streaming 5-7 p.m. ET on weekdays.

Next week, Schwartz extends NBC News’ mobile-first, Gen Z news brand, Stay Tuned, to streaming with a new primetime program delving into the day’s most talked-about reports and the latest breaking news. Originating from the west coast, Stay Tuned NOW will take a fresh look at the buzzworthy stories happening beyond New York and Washington in Schwartz’s signature energetic style, speaking to viewers as peers.

Stay Tuned NOW will examine the “Future of Everything” with a daily segment covering advancements in tech and science shaping the world and will introduce “The Temperature Check,” a recurring feature on the changing climate, its impacts and the global response.

Schwartz has been the co-host of Stay Tuned, averaging 38 million monthly episode views and reaching a new generation of news consumers, for nearly six years alongside Savannah Sellers, who also anchors Morning News NOW. Schwartz is also an NBC News correspondent, routinely appearing across flagship programs NBC Nightly News and TODAY. He also anchored a limited series, The Overview, on Peacock.

NBC News senior Washington correspondent and NBC News NOW anchor Hallie Jackson, takes on another hour of programming, anchoring 5-7 p.m. ET Jackson has also anchored key special programming for NBC News NOW, including Election Night 2022 and State of the Union 2023, and reports across flagship NBC News programs NBC Nightly News and TODAY.

The expansion of Hallie Jackson NOW comes with the launch of two new recurring segments, “The Global” and “The Newsmaker,” in addition to signature segments, “The Five Things,” “The Local” and “The Backstory.” Throughout launch week, Hallie will also examine the state of the American dream, with an in-depth look at the U.S. housing market and who it’s really serving.

The addition of Stay Tuned NOW and the expansion of Hallie Jackson NOW to two hours brings NBC News NOW to 11-plus live original hours of programming daily.
