Season-to-Date, “NBC News Daily” is #1 Afternoon News Program on All of TV in A25-54 and A18-49 Demos

Feb. 6, 2024 — NBC News Daily is the #1 afternoon news program on all of television last week with 228,000 A25-54 viewers, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. 

This marks NBC News Daily’s 14th key demo weekly win over ABC’s GMA3 in the last 18 weeks, most recently by +4,000 (+2%).

Season-to-date, NBC News Daily is the #1 afternoon news program on all of TV in the A25-54 and A18-49 demos. Ranking #1 in A25-54, NBC News Daily leads GMA3 by +15,000 (+6%). In total viewers, NBC News Daily has improved the total viewer gap vs. GMA3 by +47% versus the same point last season.

NBC News Daily reaches even more viewers on its NBC News NOW streaming platform. Kate Snow, Morgan Radford, Vicky Nguyen and Zinhle Essamuah anchor from 12-4 p.m. ET on NBC News NOW, and depending on location, different U.S. markets receive one of the four hours on their local NBC broadcast stations.
