Dec. 1, 2023 – NBC News NOW will stream a primetime special, Fear and Faith: Palestinians in America, Friday, December 1 at 9 p.m. ET on the incidents of violence, harassment and assaults targeting the Palestinian-American community since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.

Last month, NBC News NOW presented Epidemic of Hate: Antisemitism on the Rise, a special on the growing antisemitism and incidents of harassment, vandalism and assaults in the U.S. It will stream again on Friday, Dec. 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET or click here to watch.

Featured in Fear and Faith: Palestinians in America is Palestinian college student and Vermont shooting victim Kinnan Abdalhamid, who will join NBC News Daily anchor Zinhle Essamuah for a one-on-one interview following his hospital release.

The special will also delve into the fears Palestinian-Americans are facing from campuses to communities across the country with a panel of experts, including:

In addition to reporting on recent acts of violence in Vermont and Illinois, NBC News correspondent Shaq Brewster will cover the shifting political stance of Palestinian-Americans in Michigan, as well as college campus climates across the country. The special will dig into how Brown University is grappling with the shooting of one of its students, as well as how Palestinian and Jewish Dartmouth College students are coming together to call for a peaceful dialogue.
