Full Interview to Air Thursday, September 7 on MSNBC’s ‘Andrea Mitchell Reports’

Portions to Air Tonight on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” and Across MSNBC & NBC News NOW

Sept. 6, 2023 – In an exclusive one-on-one TV interview, NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell will sit down with Amb. Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, at the Chad-Sudan border.

Mitchell will speak with Amb. Thomas-Greenfield at the Adre refugee camp, home to over 200,000 refugees from Sudan’s civil war. Mitchell will also talk to displaced women and children who fled the violence in West Darfur and other areas in Sudan where massacres, executions and acts of sexual violence are being committed.

Portions of the sit-down will air tonight on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt at 6:30 p.m. ET and throughout the day on MSNBC and NBC News NOW. The full interview will air tomorrow Thursday, September 7 on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports at 12 p.m. ET.
