June 21, 2023 — Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo this past Sunday, June 18, according to data from Nielsen Market Research.

MTP continues to demonstrate its strong reach on digital platforms, reaching 123,000 viewers of Sunday’s episode on YouTube and seeing over 50,000 hours viewed on MTP content across channels last week.

#1 in the Key Demo This Past Sunday

This past Sunday, MTP averaged 439,000 viewers in the key A25-54 demo most valued by news advertisers, topping CBS’s Face the Nation by +14,000 (+3%) and ABC’s This Week by +32,000 (+8%). 

MTP posted its largest audiences in total viewers and in the key demo in five weeks.

Sunday’s broadcast featured an exclusive long-form interview with former Vice President Mike Pence. The program averaged 2.272 million total viewers. 

An additional 207,000 total viewers and 61,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC. 

Continues Audience Growth Across Digital Platforms

On YouTube, 123,000 viewers watched the Sunday broadcast. Across digital platforms, MTP continues to reach a broad audience beyond linear television, reaching nearly a million video views on digital last week with over 50,000 hours viewed.

MTP once again topped the competition in the influential Washington, D.C. market, where it hasn’t lost a Sunday in total viewers in over eight years.
