  • Nightly News is the #2 most-watched program in all of TV last week with 7.9 million viewers, excluding specials, sports & syndication
  • For sixth consecutive months, Nightly News continues its upward trend of improving in total viewers vs. ABC’s World News Tonight, cutting the year-over-year viewership gap by 17% in the most recent week
  • Sunday’s Nightly News, anchored by Lester,is the 3rd most-watched program and ranks #2 in the key A25-54 demo in all of TV last week, excluding specials, sports & syndication. The broadcast averages 7.811 million total viewers and 1.529 million A25-54 viewers
  • Saturday’s Nightly News, anchored by Lester,is the 4th most-watched program in all of TV last week, excluding specials, sports & syndication. The broadcast averages 7.693 million total viewers and 1.304 million A25-54 viewers

    • In year over year, Nightly News narrowing the total viewership gap vs. ABC by 17%, its sixth consecutive month of its upward trend of improving in total viewers
  • Averages 1.439 million A25-54 viewers, leading CBS by +415,000 (+41%)
    • In year over year, Nightly News improves the A25-54 demo gap vs. ABC by 1%, in its third consecutive month of its upward trend of improving in the key demo
  • Averages 1.009 million A18-49 viewers, beating CBS by +297,000 (+42%) 
    • In year over year, Nightly News improves theA18-49 viewership gap vs. ABC by 31%
  • Across digital, Nightly News saw 13.1 million video views and 1.2 million hours viewed on & off platforms, including clips and full episodes
  • On YouTube, full episodes reached 615,000 views and nearly 500,000 viewers
