NBC NEWS NOW EXPANDS STREAMING PROGRAMMING WITH LAUNCH OF MORNING SHOW, ANCHORED BY JOE FRYER AND SAVANNAH SELLERS

Morning News NOW streams October 12 on NBC News NOW, available on Peacock, YouTube TV, Fubo, Xumo, Pluto, and NBC News’ OTT apps on Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV

October 5, 2020 – NBC News NOW, the 24/7 streaming service from NBC News, will begin hosting a morning show, covering the latest news and headlines of the day, including national and international news, politics, business, consumer stories and more. Morning News NOW will begin streaming next week from 7-11am ET Monday through Friday, on Peacock, YouTube TV, Fubo, Xumo, Pluto, and NBC News’ OTT apps on Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV.

NBC News correspondent Joe Fryer and NBC News correspondent and co-host of NBC Stay Tuned Savannah Sellers will co-host the morning show. The anchors will provide smart, engaging and trustworthy context to the most important stories driving the day’s news. They will be joined by our NBC News reporters from across the country and around the world to take viewers into the field, informing and empowering the audience during these turbulent times.

NBC News NOW provides a new kind of news product for a rising generation of news consumers, offering well-informed original news content and deeply journalistic reporting from across NBC News’ portfolio of brands. Content includes hourly live updates, breaking news reporting, in-depth features, interviews with political and influential figures and behind-the-scenes looks at some of the most important stories from around the world.

Since launching in 2019, NBC News NOW has grown to an average of more than 10 million unique viewers and more than 10 million hours watched each month. The launch of Morning News NOW is the newest addition to the streaming service’s growing slate of programming, including Chuck Todd’s weekly show – Meet The Press Reports – streaming every Thursday, and Alison Morris’ weekday afternoon show. NBC News NOW also hosts various special reports, with recent programming including Can You Hear Us Now?, Pride & Protest, Planet 2020, Decisión 2020 and more.
