“MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD” CONTINUES WINNING STREAK, #1 ACROSS THE BOARD AGAIN

#1 IN KEY DEMO FOR 58TH STRAIGHT BROADCAST, #1 IN TOTAL VIEWERS FOR 15 OF THE LAST 16 BROADCASTS

MARCH 12, 2019 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, March 10, according to Nielsen Media Research, marking the show’s fifth straight week at #1.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.). 3.550 million total viewers tuned in on Sunday: +16 percent (+483,000) more than ABC’s This Week and +6 percent (+199,000) more than CBS’ Face the Nation. This marks the broadcast’s 38th straight win over ABC in total viewers and the 15th win over CBS out of the last 16 broadcasts.

MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 58th straight broadcast, topping both ABC and CBS by double-digits. 858,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +22 percent (+155,000) more than CBS and +12 percent (+94,000) more than ABC. This is the broadcast’s best streak in over 18 years (since October 15, 2000).

Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best total viewer lead over ABC in seven years and CBS in eight years.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in almost four years (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 953,000 total viewers and 172,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
