‘TODAY’ #1 in Key A25-54 Demo for 127 Straight Weeks, Best Streak in Nearly Six Years

‘TODAY’ Tops GMA for 147 Consecutive Weeks in A18-49

NEW YORK – June 5, 2018 – NBC News’ TODAY was the number-one morning show last week in the key A25-54 demo for 127 consecutive weeks, its best streak in nearly six years. TODAY also topped ABC’s Good Morning America in A18-49 for 147 straight weeks. Additionally, compared to the same week last season, TODAY’s total viewership increased by +10,000 while its advantage over CBS grew by 31%. Season to date, TODAY has narrowed the margin with GMA by 82% in total viewers compared to same point last season.

TODAY was rated for four days last week due to the holiday, Memorial Day.

• TODAY delivered a 1.10 A25-54 rating, +0.04 points ahead of GMA and +0.43 points more than CBS

TODAY averaged 953,000 A18-49 viewers, topping GMA and +375,000 (+65%) higher than CBS

• Among A18-49 viewers, TODAY has now posted 147 consecutive weekly wins and has finished #1 in 153 of the last 155 weeks and 164 of the last 168 weeks

TODAY averaged 3.958 million total viewers, leading CBS This Morning by +721,000 (+22%)

• Compared to the same week last season, TODAY’s total viewership increased by +10,000 while its advantage over CBS grew by 31%
