NOVEMBER 29, 2017 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, November 26, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

Sunday’s broadcast featured an exclusive interview with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who told Todd that accused Congressman John Conyers (D-Mich.) deserves “due process” as well as exclusive interviews with Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Professor Anita Hill.

3.334 million total viewers tuned into the broadcast on Sunday: +12 percent (+366,000) more than ABC’s “This Week” and two percent (+55,000) more than CBS’ “Face the Nation,” which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. This marks MTP’s highest total viewer delivery in four weeks (since 10/29/2017) and its 35th straight win over ABC. Week over week, MTP grew its total viewer audience by eight percent (+239,000) and increased its advantage over its ABC and CBS by triple digits percentages.

MTP also won among A25-54 demo viewers, an audience most valued by news advertisers. 921,000 demo viewers tuned into MTP: six percent (+50,000) more than ABC and +28 percent (+202,000) more than CBS. The program grew its A25-54 audience by +16 percent (+130,000) compared to the previous Sunday – the only show to deliver growth in key demo viewership. It improved its margins over ABC and CBS by triple-digit percentages.

An additional 1.482 million total viewers and 567,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.

For the month of November, MTP was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo, marking its second consecutive monthly win. An average of 887,000 A25-54 viewers tuned into the show: four percent (+30,000) more than ABC and +14 percent (111,000) more than CBS. An average of 3.264 million total viewers tuned into MTP in November, nine percent (+279,000) more than ABC. MTP delivered its best total viewer audience in three months (since August 2017) and improved its advantage over CBS by 33 percent (+95,000) compared to the month before.

MTP won the 2017 November Sweep in the key demo, marking its ninth consecutive sweep period at #1. An average of 909,000 A25-54 viewers tuned into MTP during the November Sweep period: eight percent (+67,000) more than ABC and +18 percent (+137,000) more than CBS. Compared to the last sweep period (2017 July Sweep), MTP grew in key demo by four percent (+36,000). An average of 3.279 million total viewers tuned into MTP during the November Sweep period, beating ABC by +10 percent (+300,000). Compared to the last sweep period (2017 July Sweep), MTP grew in total viewers by +12 percent (+342,000) and grew its lead over ABC by +134 percent (+172,000).

Season-to-date, MTP continues as the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo, topping competition by double-digits: ABC by +10 percent (+85,000) and CBS by +16 percent (+127,000).
