TRUMP NOW LEADS GOP FIELD BY 20 POINTS IN NEW NBC NEWS|SURVEYMONKEY ONLINE POLL

Up Three Points in Last Week, Kasich Now Virtually Tied with Rubio

Clinton Continues to Lead Sanders, Holds 13-Point Advantage

MARCH 15, 2016 – Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, up five points from last week, leads his party rivals by a full 20 points according to the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey online poll.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz follows Trump with 24 percent support among likely Republican voters, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich with 12 percent and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio with 11 percent. Kasich gained three points in the past week while Rubio dropped seven points.

Cruz, who led Trump by five points last week with very conservative voters, now only holds a two-point advantage with that group.

Democratic presidential frontrunner former Sec. Hillary Clinton continues her national lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), 54 percent to 41 percent. Clinton dropped one point in the past week while Sanders gained by three.
