“MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD” IS #1 ACROSS-THE-BOARD AS POLITICAL PRIMARIES HEAT UP

MTP Draws Over 4 Million Viewers, Biggest Audience in More Than a Month

NBC Broadcast Tops ABC in Total Viewers for 10th Straight Week, Beats CBS Half-Hour by Over 300,000

MARCH 10, 2016 — “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” was the most-watched Sunday show in total viewers and all key demos on Sunday, March 6 — the Sunday following Super Tuesday and Saturday presidential primary contests.

The NBC broadcast averaged over 4 million total viewers, marking its largest audience in more than a month (since 1/24/16) and topping “Face the Nation” by over 300,000 viewers despite rating a full 15 minutes longer than the CBS program. MTP has now beat ABC’s “This Week” among total viewers for 10 consecutive weeks.

In the key A25-54 demo, MTP averaged nearly 1.2 million viewers — marking its best demo delivery in four weeks, ninth win over ABC in 10 weeks, and third straight win over CBS.

MTP continues to grow by double digits year-to-year, posting a +47% gain among total viewers (+1.284) and +57% gain in the demo (+425,000) versus the same Sunday in 2015.

MTP is the dominant leader in the influential Washington, DC market, topping the competition combined in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. Meet the Press has ranked #1 in total viewers every Sunday in Washington since 3/22/2015.

Meet the Press drew an additional 1.260 million total viewers and 365,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and MSNBC.
