THE FUTURE OF GUN CONTROL

President Obama is expected to press ahead with executive actions on gun control this month, meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch to discuss the measures on Monday.

Capt. Mark Kelly (Ret.), husband of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords who was injured in a 2011 mass shooting, joins the show after having met with President Obama this past month to discuss gun control.

Meanwhile, Texas is becoming more gun-friendly with the passage of a law this week allowing openly-displayed handguns. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R-Texas) joins the show to address the ongoing debate about the state’s controversial gun culture.
