Joins Chuck Todd and Team of NBC News Correspondents on the Ground

APRIL 28, 2015 – Lester Holt will anchor “NBC Nightly News” from Baltimore, MD tonight, where tensions continue to run high and violent clashes have left the city reeling.   Protests descended into chaos Monday night following the funeral of Freddie Gray, who died in police custody on April 19.

Holt joins “Meet the Press” moderator and NBC News political director Chuck Todd and a team of NBC News journalists on the ground there, including Peter Alexander, Rehema Ellis, Gabe Gutierrez, and Ron Allen.
