NBC NEWS LAUNCHES NEW ‘PLAN YOUR VOTE’ CAMPAIGN ON NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY

NBCUniversal News Group Anchors & Correspondents Come Together to Encourage and Inform Americans to Plan Their Vote Using NBC News’ Voting Guide Ahead of the 2022 Midterm Elections

September 20, 2022 – Following the return of Plan Your Vote, NBC News’ interactive, state-by-state voting guide, NBC News is releasing a new multi-platform marketing campaign timed to National Voter Registration Day. The campaign features familiar faces from brands across the NBCUniversal News Group, including NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC and Telemundo.

Plan Your Vote provides a comprehensive, state-by-state guide of information voters need to know about the voting rules where they live and major changes since the 2020 elections, including registration deadlines, mail-in voting, early in-person voting, and more. 

In collaboration with Telemundo, the tool is available in both English and Spanish, with the ability to toggle between the two languages without leaving the page. Plan Your Vote is available at both NBCNews.com/PlanYourVote and PlanificaTuVoto.com.

The interactive has helped hundreds of thousands of visitors plan their vote for the 2022 midterm elections. The tool was built and is powered by the NBC News Data Graphics team, with data and information supplied by the NBC News Decision Desk and politics team.
