Service Debuts Ahead of 31st Season of ‘Dateline,’ Which Kicks Off Friday, Sept 16 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT
August 29, 2022 – Starting today, Dateline NBC will launch Dateline Premium, an all-new Apple Podcasts subscription offering true crime fans 400+ hours of ad-free listening, early access to episodes and exclusive bonus content. The subscription debuts ahead of Dateline’s 31st season premiere on Friday, September 16 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. Click here to subscribe to Dateline Premium.
As part of Dateline Premium’s early access to new podcasts, subscribers will be able to start listening to Dateline’s upcoming Internal Affairs podcast a week before its official Sept. 20 launch. The six-episode podcast from Dateline correspondent Josh Mankiewicz will feature his reporting into a deadly romantic affair in a police department in Northern Colorado. Additionally, the monthly bonus episodes will begin September 1.
The subscription follows several of Dateline’s chart-topping podcasts, including Dateline: Missing in America, The Seduction, The Thing About Helen & Olga, Killer Role, Mommy Doomsday, Motive for Murder, The Thing About Pam and 13 Alibis. Dateline’s showcast, broadcasts available as episodes, also continues to rank as the #1 true crime podcast, according to Podtrac.
Dateline NBC is the longest-running series in NBC primetime history and will begin its 31st season on September 16 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. Dateline is anchored by Lester Holt and features correspondents Andrea Canning, Josh Mankiewicz, Keith Morrison and Dennis Murphy.
