  • Nightly News is the #3 most-watched program in all of TV last week in total viewers, averaging 6.022 million total viewers, excluding specials, sports & syndication
  • Nightly News narrows the key demo gaps vs. ABC in week-over-week measurements
  • Across digital, Nightly marks its best week since April, with 12.2 million video views
  • Season to date, Nightly News improves its competitive position versus ABC by 12% in total viewers, by 5% in the A25-54 demo and by 20% in the A18-49 demo compared to the same time period last year

  • Averages 6.022 million total viewers, topping CBS by +1.520 million (+34%)
  • Averages 927,000 A25-54 viewers, beating CBS by +176,000 (+24%)
    • Nightly News cuts the week-over-week A25-54 gap vs. ABC by 4%
  • Averages 634,000 A18-49 viewers, leading CBS by +140,000 (+28%)
    • Nightly News cuts the week-over-week A18-49 gap vs. ABC by 11%
  • Across digital, Nightly marks its best week since April, with 12.2 million video views on & off network platforms
  • On YouTube, full episodes reached 659,000 views and 527,000 viewers

NBC Nightly News, World News Tonight and CBS Evening News’ ratings are comprised of telecasts with regular titling and include overnight airings on owned stations. World News Tonight’s ratings also include 3:30pm airings in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
