MTP was #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers this past Sunday, topping both ABC and CBS. MTP averaged 476,000 A25-54 viewers, leading ABC by +13,000 (+3%) and CBS by +10,000 (+2%)
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with January 6th select committee member Rep. Elaine Luria (D-Va.), Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.), and filmmaker Nick Quested. It averaged 2.425 million total viewers, six percent (+135,000) more than ABC. It was MTP’s best total viewer audience in nine weeks, placing second behind CBS’s “Face the Nation,” which continues to rate for only its first half hour and follows the highly rated “CBS Sunday Morning.”
An additional 216,000 total viewers and 44,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.
