#1 Most Watched Sunday Show in the Nation’s Capital for 86 Straight Months

June 14, 2022 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo this past Sunday, June 12, according to Nielsen Media Research.

#1 in Key Demo Last Sunday

MTP was #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers this past Sunday, topping both ABC and CBS. MTP averaged 476,000 A25-54 viewers, leading ABC by +13,000 (+3%) and CBS by +10,000 (+2%)

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with January 6^th select committee member Rep. Elaine Luria (D-Va.), Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.), and filmmaker Nick Quested. It averaged 2.425 million total viewers, six percent (+135,000) more than ABC. It was MTP’s best total viewer audience in nine weeks, placing second behind CBS’s “Face the Nation,” which continues to rate for only its first half hour and follows the highly rated “CBS Sunday Morning.”

An additional 216,000 total viewers and 44,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.

Last week, MTP reached more than 1.8 million video views and 55,000 hours watched across digital platforms.

This past Sunday’s full episode has currently reached more than 239,000 video views and 189,000 viewers.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, winning in total viewers for 86 consecutive months.
