Exclusive Interview to Air Wednesday, April 13 on NBC News’ TODAY

Preview to Air on NBC Nightly News Tuesday, April 12 and Extended Version to Run on TODAY All Day and NBC News Now after the Broadcast

NEW YORK – April 6, 2022 – Former President Barack Obama will speak one-on-one with Al Roker next week outside of Washington, D.C. The exclusive interview will air Wednesday, April 13 on NBC News’ TODAY with previews running Tuesday, April 12 on TODAY and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.

Roker will interview Obama ahead of the premiere of his five-part docuseries on nature conservation, “Our Great National Parks,” which begins airing Wednesday, April 13 on Netflix. An extended version of the interview will run on TODAY All Day and NBC News Now following the broadcast.

The interview will run as part of #TODAYClimate’s month-long coverage dedicated to environmental education, sustainability and climate solutions. It will be available on TODAY.com after it airs.
