  • Nightly News is the #3 most-watched program in all of TV last week in total viewers, averaging 6.999 million total viewers, excluding specials, sports & syndication

  • Nightly News is in its 5th consecutive month of continuing its upward trend of improving in A25-54 vs. ABC’s World News Tonight, closing the year-over-year viewership gap by 17% during the most recent week
  • Nightly News is in its 8th consecutive month of continuing its upward trend of improving in total viewers vs. ABC’s World News Tonight, cutting the year-over-year viewership gap by 1% during the most recent week
  • Season to date, Nightly News improves its competitive position versus ABC by 21% in total viewers, by 19% in the A25-54 demo and by 39% in the A18-49 demo compared to the same time period last year

  • Averages 6.999 million total viewers, topping CBS by +2.034 million (+41%), its largest lead over the network in four weeks (since 2/28/22)

    • Week over week, Nightly News improves the total viewership gap vs. ABC by 8%
    • In year over year, Nightly News narrows the total viewership gap vs. ABC by 1%, in its eighth consecutive month of its upward trend of improving in total viewers
  • Averages 1.248 million A25-54 viewers, leading CBS by +386,000 (+45%)
    • In year over year, Nightly News narrows the A25-54 demo gap vs. ABC by 17%, in its 5th consecutive month of its upward trend of improving
  • Averages 867,000 A18-49 viewers, beating CBS by +246,000 (+39%)
    • Marks largest A18-49 audience in three weeks (since 3/7/22)
    • In year over year, Nightly News improves in the demo vs. ABC by 42%
  • Across digital, Nightly News saw 18.5 million video views and 1.6 million hours viewed on & off platforms, including clips and full episodes
  • On YouTube, weekday episodes reached 994,000 views and 770,000 viewers
