Streaming Special to Run in Primetime on TODAY All Day and NBC News Now

Preview of Interview to Air on NBC Nightly News Wednesday, February 23

NEW YORK – February 16, 2022 – In a TODAY exclusive, Hoda Kotb will speak with Matt Hutchins, his first interview since the death of his wife Halyna in October.  Halyna Hutchins was killed by a prop gun that was discharged on the set of Alec Baldwin’s movie, “Rust.” Hutchins’ family filed a lawsuit against Baldwin and “Rust” for wrongful death yesterday.

The interview will air Thursday, February 24 on TODAY and will stream later that evening in a special primetime simulcast on TODAY All Day, the show’s streaming channel, and NBC News Now at 10:30 p.m. The interview will also run as a bonus episode of Kotb’s “Making Space” podcast. A preview of the interview will air Wednesday, February 23, on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.

The interview will be available on TODAY.com following the broadcast.
