TALIA PARKINSON-JONES NAMED EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF ‘TODAY WITH HODA & JENNA’

Meredith Reis Named Senior Broadcast Producer

NEW YORK — October 6, 2021 — Television veteran Talia Parkinson-Jones has been named Executive Producer of NBC News’ TODAY with Hoda & Jenna. The announcement was made this morning by Libby Leist, Senior Vice President of TODAY and NBC News.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Talia to TODAY,” said Leist. “Her extensive daytime television experience is matched by her energy and creativity, and we look forward to her joining our team.”

Parkinson-Jones will oversee the fourth hour of TODAY hosted by Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. She officially joins the program Monday, October 18.

Parkinson-Jones is a three-time Emmy-award winning executive producer, showrunner, and casting director. Most recently, she served as consulting producer on Facebook Watch’s “Red Table Talk.” In 2019, Parkinson-Jones launched and co-executive produced the syndicated daytime talk show “Tamron Hall,” and in 2020 she was named Executive Producer of the program. She also spent ten seasons working for “The Wendy Williams Show” and served as co-executive producer. In her decades-long career in television, she developed and executive-produced BET Network’s one-hour red carpet fashion series, “Wendy’s Style Squad” and served as casting director for the game show “Cash Cab.”

Parkinson-Jones graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Public Communications. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and two sons.

Additionally, TODAY veteran Meredith Reis has been named Senior Broadcast Producer of Hoda & Jenna, effective immediatelyReis began her career as a researcher for TODAY and has worked on all four hours of the program covering breaking news, features and live events. A four-time Emmy award winner, Reis has travelled the globe with the show and managed several remote productions and special broadcasts. For the past two years, she has served as Senior Producer for the 10 a.m. hour. Reis will report to Parkinson-Jones who will report to Leist.
