First Look at One-on-One Interview — Tonight, June 23, on ‘NBC Nightly News’

June 23, 2021 — In his first one-on-one interview as Second Gentleman, Doug Emhoff sits down with NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Peter Alexander for an NBC News exclusive interview airing tomorrow, June 24, on TODAY, NBC Nightly News, MSNBC and NBC News Now.

Alexander will speak with Emhoff, the first-ever Second Gentleman of the United States, while on the ground in Chicago on behalf of the Biden Administration’s effort to increase vaccinations across the country. 

During the wide-ranging interview, the two will also discuss the historic nature of his wife being elected the first woman, Black, and South Asian Vice President, how he sees his role as Second Gentleman and support of the administration’s vaccination efforts, and more.
