June 9, 2021 — As President Joe Biden embarks on his first international trip as Commander in Chief, covering three countries in one week, NBCUniversal News Group will feature live special coverage across NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com throughout his trip.

  • Next week on NBC NewsLester Holt will anchor special editions of NBC Nightly News live from Geneva, Switzerland on Tuesday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 16 as President Biden is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 16.
  • Plus, on MSNBCAndrea Mitchell will anchor Andrea Mitchell Reports live from Geneva on Wednesday, June 16.
  • Leading up to the Biden-Putin Summit, NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC anchors, correspondents and reporters will be dispatched across the globe to cover President Biden’s trip, including the G7 Summit in Cornwall, U.K. and the NATO and U.S.-E.U. Summits in Brussels, Belgium. 
  • NBCU News Group will also provide special coverage as President Biden meets with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday, June 10; Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle on Sunday, June 13; Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, June 14; and Swiss President Guy Parmelin on Wednesday, June 16.

  • NBC News will also provide special reports throughout the day on Wednesday, June 16. NBC Nightly NewsLester Holt and TODAY co-anchor and NBC News chief legal correspondent Savannah Guthrie will anchor live from Geneva and New York, respectively.   • MSNBC’s special coverage of President Biden’s summit with Putin will kick off at 5 a.m. ET and continue throughout the day with live coverage from Washington D.C. and Geneva. 
    • Live coverage will kick off on Way Too Early with Kasie Hunt at 5 a.m. ET
    • Morning Joe co-hosts Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist will continue special coverage beginning at 6 a.m. ET with live updates and in-depth reporting and analysis from top national security and Russian affairs experts. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will also join the conversation for an exclusive live interview to add her insights.
    • Beginning at 9 a.m. ET, Hallie Jackson and Ayman Mohyeldin will anchor a special edition of MSNBC Reports live from Washington, D.C. with Andrea Mitchell co-anchoring live from Geneva. Jackson will continue co-anchoring live coverage with Mitchell at 11 a.m. ET.
    • At 12 p.m. ET, Chuck Todd and Kasie Hunt will pick up special coverage from the nation’s capital with the latest reporting and analysis from Mitchell in Geneva. 
    • At 2 p.m. ET, Geoff Bennett will anchor live from D.C. followed by Moheyldin at 3 p.m. ET.
  • On Wednesday, Mehdi Hasan will deliver special coverage of the summit on The Mehdi Hasan Show which streams Monday through Thursday on Peacock’s exclusive news channel The Choice and airs Sunday on MSNBC.
  • NBC News NOW will stream Wednesday’s special report. NBC News NOW is available to stream live and on demand on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s new streaming service, as well as on The Roku Channel, YouTube TV, Fubo, Xumo, Pluto, Tubi and NBC News’ OTT apps on Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV.
