Interview to Air Thursday, June 3 on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” and MSNBC

June 2, 2021 – In an exclusive one-on-one interview, NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell will sit down with Amb. Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, at the Turkish-Syrian border on Thursday, June 3. 

Mitchell will speak exclusively with Amb. Thomas-Greenfield at Bab al-Hawa, the last remaining humanitarian corridor between Syria and Turkey, at risk of closing should Russia follow through on vetoing an extension of a U.N. National Security Council resolution that mandates its existence, halting assistance to millions of Syrian refugees.

The interview will air Thursday, June 3 on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt at 6:30 p.m. ET and on MSNBC. Additional portions of the sit-down will air Friday, June 4 on NBC News’ TODAY and MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports at 12 p.m. ET, as well as throughout the day on MSNBC.
