“MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD” REMAINS #1 MOST-WATCHED SUNDAY SHOW

#1 in Total Viewers for 6 Out of Last 7 Weeks

Tops Competition by Double Digits

Plus – Reaches 3.7 Million Video Views Across Digital Platforms

Feb. 17, 2021 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in total viewers this past Sunday, Feb. 14, according to Nielsen Media Research.

#1 in Total Viewers; Tops Competition By Double Digits

MTP averaged 3.717 million total viewers, topping both ABC and CBS by double digits: +12 percent (+387,000) more than ABC’s This Week and +13 percent (+419,000) more than CBS’s Face the Nation. This marks MTP’s best total viewer advantage over CBS in over a year (since Feb. 9, 2020). Compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP was up +18 percent (+569,000).

MTP averaged 740,000 A25-54 viewers, +30 percent (+170,000) more than CBS. Just three percent separated MTP from ABC. Season-to-date, MTP remains #1 in the key demo for six straight years.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with lead impeachment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Majority Whip Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Gov. Larry Hogan (R-Md.), and CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky.

An additional 225,000 total viewers and 82,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.

Reaches 3.7 Million Video Views Across Digital

MTP reached 3.7 million video views and 670,000 hours watched across platforms, up +162 percent year over year in starts and +500 percent in hours consumed.

This past Sunday’s full episode has currently reached more than 1 million views. And, the full episode that aired on Feb. 7 saw 1.3 million views on YouTube and nearly 1 million viewers.

Almost Six Years as #1 Most Watched Sunday Show in Washington, D.C.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, more than tripling the competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in almost six years (since March 22, 2015).

Tune in to MSNBC’s MTP Daily weekdays at 1 p.m. ET for more from moderator Chuck Todd, and follow the broadcast on Facebook and on Twitter for the latest.
