Gold Speaks Out For the First Time Since the November 2015 Shooting in Live Interview

Interview Airs Tuesday, April 11 on NBC’s TODAY

NEW YORK – April 10, 2017 —  In a TODAY exclusive, Matt Lauer will sit down with Peter Gold, the Tulane University medical student who was shot while trying to stop an attack on a woman outside a New Orleans bar in November 2015. For the first time, Gold will watch the surveillance video of the shooting. The live, in-studio interview, Gold’s first since the shooting, will air Tuesday, April 11 on NBC News’ TODAY.   

The interview will be available on TODAY.com following the broadcast.
