Brian Williams Leads MSNBC Coverage of Wednesday’s Memorial Service from National Cathedral 

NEW YORK (December 2, 2018) – NBC News and MSNBC will broadcast special coverage of the events honoring President George H.W. Bush beginning Monday, December 3 as his body arrives to lie in state in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

Savannah Guthrie, co-anchor of NBC News’ TODAY, will anchor a split-show from Washington, D.C. beginning Monday morning through Wednesday. Lester Holt, anchor of NBC Nightly News, will broadcast live from Washington Monday through Wednesday evenings and lead NBC News’ special reports throughout the week from D.C.

On Wednesday, December 5, Guthrie and Holt will lead the network’s special coverage of the 41st president’s memorial service from Washington National Cathedral.Morning Joe kicks off MSNBC’s coverage Wednesday morning. Brian Williams, host of The 11th Hour with Brian Williams, will lead MSNBC’s coverage of the service from the National Cathedral, joined by Chris Matthews, host of Hardball, and Nicolle Wallace, host of Deadline: White House.

This week’s special coverage will also feature reporting and analysis from moderator of Meet the Press and NBC News political director Chuck Todd, NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell, and NBC News senior correspondent Tom Brokaw, as well as:
