NBC News to Tour Combined Air, Ground and Naval Capabilities for the U.S. During Military Exercises with South Korea

Holt to Anchor Nightly News from South Korea on Monday and Tuesday, Report for Sunday Nightly News and Monday’s TODAY

NEW YORK (April 1, 2017) – “NBC Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt will report from South Korea with unprecedented access to the U.S. military’s combined air, ground and naval capabilities during a time of rising tensions in the region. Holt will anchor “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” live from South Korea on April 3 and 4. He will also contribute coverage across NBC News, reporting for Nightly News on Sunday and Monday’s “TODAY.”

Holt and NBC News will go inside the nerve center for all U.S. military air operations in the Korean Peninsula, where cameras are usually prohibited, according to U.S. military officials, during a combined military exercise with South Korea. Holt will report on the North Korean nuclear threat and the American commitment to defend its allies.
