Meredith Vieira, Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw and Maria Shriver Will Join NBC’s TODAY as Guest Co-Anchors Next Week Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb Will Also Make a Special Early Appearance Behind the Anchor Desk at 7 a.m. Wednesday

NEW YORK – September 5, 2014 – – All next week on NBC’s TODAY, familiar faces will be gracing Studio 1A.  Meredith Vieira, Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw and Maria Shriver will join TODAY as guest co-anchors filling in for new mom Savannah Guthrie, who is on maternity leave.

TODAY’s Homecoming Week kicks off Monday, September 8 with Meredith Vieira as she gets ready to launch her new daytime show.  Brian Williams pulls double-duty on Tuesday anchoring in the morning and at night for NBC Nightly News.  On Thursday, Tom Brokaw returns to the TODAY anchor chair, and Maria Shriver will be behind the desk Friday.
